Semi-Open Quantum Walks
Abstract: <p>Semi-Open Quantum Walks (SOQW's) are a class of quantum walk, which are unitary and purely driven by interactions with the dissipative environment. In this talk, I will introduce a nice model of an out of equilibrium quantum system simulated with this family of quantum walks to depict behaviours like the quantum Fourier Law. Primarily, I will focus on the results and developments, covering the general formalism, examples on $\mathbb{Z}$, probability distributions via numerical simulations as well as some possible applications if implemented.</p>
